ODIN at the 4th International Vitamin Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark 25-27th May, 2016
ODIN PIs and researchers made a significant contribution to the recent 4th International Vitamin Conference in Copenhagen. ODIN's Professor Kevin Cashman was an invited keynote speaker while ODIN Professors Mairead Kiely and Christian Mølgaard, and Dr Jette Jakobsen gave plenary lectures. There were oral presentations given by ODIN participants Ellen van Heuvel and Manfred Eggersdorfer. In addition, two posters were presented by ODIN researcher, Jelena Milešević and her colleagues at Eurofir. Read more here.

Congratulations to ODIN’s Taryn Smith from the University of Surrey who won the Trainee Travel Award to attend and give an oral presentation on the “Estimation of dietary requirement for vitamin D in UK adolescents aged 14-18 year: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial.” at the 19th Workshop on Vitamin D in Boston, USA held between 29th and 31st March, 2016.

There were a significant number of ODIN oral and poster presentations at the 19th Vitamin D Workshop in Boston, MA recently. These included ODIN-related oral presentations by Professor Kiely, Professor Sempos and Professor Lips on vitamin D in a pregnancy cohort, vitamin D measurement standardization, and vitamin D and type II diabetes, respectively. There were 5 ODIN-related poster presentations by Professor Cashman, Dr. Smith, Dr. Adebayo and MS. Hauger.
