Role in the project:

Professor John O’Doherty and Dr Alan Kelly will conduct the feeding trials in pigs and cattle respectively which will investigate and compare the effect of fortification of feedstuffs with vitamin D2 versus D3 as well as with powdered vitamin D2-enriched mushrooms in the cattle and pig feed-stuffs on vitamin D3 and 25- hydroxyvitamin D in resulting meats (Task 7.4).
